When they're not releasing vague teaser images of forlorn looking soldiers, the men and women behind the Call of Duty series are creating seasons worth of DLC packs, all with appropriately silly names. And the most recent title in the monolithic franchise is no exception, with four major injections of content slowly making their way onto the game's marketplace.
However, if you've never been one for downloadable extras, you may be glad to hear that you'll be able to access a free trial of the Onslaught pack this weekend on the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4. This particular add-on includes four new multiplayer maps, an extinction episode, and a brand new gun to play with. Oh, and just so that we're all clear, this is also the DLC that inexplicably features the Predator.
Will you be taking advantage of this free offer? Is this a suitable repayment for the series' continued allegiance to Microsoft hardware? Lock 'n' load in the comments section below.
