With a Steam Early Access release on the horizon, you’ll be able to sample Sony Online Entertainment’s upcoming zombie adventure H1Z1 pretty soon. However, if you’re not a PC player, you may have to wait a little while to try the title on your PlayStation 4. The developer has more or less confirmed that the game is coming to the Japanese giant’s next-gen machine, but has indicated that it won’t arrive until the computer-based build is in a stable state.
Still, that doesn’t mean that you can’t ogle some videos of the release in action. Despite being recorded from a low quality stream, this clip shows off some of the title’s exploration, combat, and vehicular aspects. It’s also riddled with the kind of technical hitches that you would probably expect from an unfinished game, but flick through the footage, and you should see the nucleus of a solid idea. Presumably, the package will be all polished up by the time that it hits the PS4.

oO dear another game everyone can talk about for the next year before release!! Getting fed up of all these games that don't even have a release date!, yes it's GREAT news for players like me who have left PC gaming for PS4 but OMG is this all the console players do is read about games not due out anytime soon! UGH!! 😔

@Midzark I understand your frustration, but the games do have to get made first! There's plenty coming out.
@Alpha It's free-to-play, but Early Access will be $20. I believe it comes with a bunch of in-game items if you pay for that.
This is the kind of model more devs should follow.
Payday 2 is the prime example of this.
These guys are waiting to get it up to scratch which is much easier on the PC, so they get to work out all the kinks and PC players get to be a part of that.
And us PS4 owners get a fully working product.
@ToOGoodOfAPlaya yea I understand what your saying but surely it would be good to release the "Alphas" on PS4 as well so we can help, plus we get to play too yay! Could be in Alpha for year+
@get2sammyb yea I understand this but being new to the hole "console player" why do we have to miss out on the hole "Alpha/Beta" thing?! then have to wait till they fix the problems to port it to PS4?!... Why not bring them to us too so we can help?!
I'm excited about this game, but everything looks like it's covered in a fog to limit the draw distance. Hoping this is just a foggy level they are showing.
