The Amazing Spider-Man Faces His Toughest Test Yet on PS4

There are more villains in this The Amazing Spider-Man 2 trailer than a police database. Activision’s upcoming movie tie-in – which is due out on both the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 later this month – will plot the return of franchise fatty Kingpin, who has placed a bounty on the head of New York’s greatest web-slinger.

And this brand new operatic footage provides an overview of the kind of foes that you’ll come up against, including Black Cat, Kraven the Hunter, and Harry Osborn in his Goblin guise. Much like the previous title, this game will only loosely tie into the movie that it’s based upon, opting to tell its own story instead. Are you ready to bring home the bacon? Then king pin telling people that spiderman isn't tough enough on crime, who would buy that rubbish. Anyway, this game doesn't look great but hopefully it turns out to be a lot of fun, I don't have high hopes.

@SimonAdebisi Yeah, I'm not expecting anything amazing. Would probably bite if it turns out 'good', though, as I'm in the mood for more superhero action after inFAMOUS.

looks good , pity about that music though . just clicked on the link "swing time" : awesome !! (dee dee deww de de dedew) easily as good as "Lion"

Bad trailer for sure..gameplay probably more fun than it seems. I ll wait for a review to make my mind about it.

I enjoyed the first, but I felt it had a lot of room to improve. Hopefully this does well. Just don't get it right away. The first game was notorious for ruining the plot of the movie in the first fifteen minutes.

Looks good. If you've watched the recent developer walkthrough the game looks pretty good. They've brought realistic web-swinging back so no more sky swinging.

this trailer is vastly improved if muted and swing time playing instead (that's what i did)

Nice. The new Web swing mechanism has me interested. Perhaps this will be the Spidey game to finally dethrone Spider-Man 2...
Don't like Kingpin's voice, shouldn't sound like such a thug. The 90s cartoon had him down to a 't'.

Also, watching it again- that arm smashing through the glass... Is orange jumpsuited guy meant to be Harry? Because, and call this wishful thinking, but that's either blood-not something you'd expect to see in a Spidey game trailer- or, y'know - Carnage!
