While the Game Developers Conference is not a consumer centric show, Sony always likes to put in an appearance at the event. It famously announced the PlayStation Move at the convention a few years back, and spent the majority of 2013’s industry get-together flaunting the PlayStation 4. With its next generation console readily ripping up sales records, though, you may be forgiven for assuming that its presence would be diminished during this week’s assembly – but that couldn’t be further from the case.
Rather than bring a bunch of blockbusters, the Japanese giant has instead opted to flaunt its indie lineup, which consists of a slew of PlayStation 4 and Vita games. First-party highlights include Helldivers and Hohokum, which will be joined by Child of Light, Galak-Z, and N++. Over in portable land, the hotly anticipated handheld port of Borderlands 2 will be playable, alongside Super Exploding Zoo, Race the Sun, and SteamWorld Dig.
You can peruse the full lineup through here. Don’t be surprised if the platform holder doesn’t drop one or two announcements during the course of the week, in addition to its rumoured virtual reality headset, which is supposedly set to show up during a panel later today. Which of these titles are you most looking forward to? Crank up your anticipation in the comments section below.

Will you guys be posting a link to the stream later?
Just want new and more vita games
@sajoey There is no stream that I'm aware of?
@get2sammyb Oh. I figured there was, given their track record. Nevermind then.
@sajoey Yeah, it's a bit odd. Writing a story on it now.
@get2sammyb Alright, cool.
Hope there's gonna be some cool ps4 news
Hoping to see some AAA games announced, and some of them being exclusive would make it even better. Probably asking too much though. Rumor is now that MS is looking to lock up RE 7 as an exclusive. Sony seems content to do nothing.
Gamer83 No noooooooo then Vita won't get RE
@Gamer83 Damn I hope that's not true. I LOVED Resident Evil 6 (PS3), and I do plan on eventually playing both Operation Racoon City (PS3) and Revelations (PS3).
