European retailers aren’t always the most reliable source, but history evidences that they definitely care less about non-disclosure agreements on the continent. As such, one Portuguese chain named Worten has told Eurogamer.pt that it’s confident that Grand Theft Auto V will release on the PlayStation 4 this year. Could this be a case of ‘where there’s smoke, there’s fire’?
Last month, Take Two boss Strauss Zelnick stressed that developer Rockstar will port the title if people want it. “If that is where consumers are, absolutely [we'll release our game on the PS4],” he told investors. “We are not in the hardware business, we don’t have any dog in that hut, we just want to be where the consumer is." Perhaps those 6 million units will twist his arm.
