Short Peace: Ranko Tsukigime's Longest Day, a collaboration between the wonderful minds of assassin-obsessed Suda 51 and Crispy's! Inc's Yohei Kataoka of Tokyo Jungle fame, is heading to the PlayStation 3 on 18th April in Europe.
The bundle comprises of four animated short movies – including Academy Award nominee Possessions – and a fast-paced and frantic 2D gaming experience, following the life of a high school girl who at night transforms into a deadly assassin. The psychedelic gameplay sees the young protagonist chaining combos with her violin sniper and taking on gigantic enemies against a beautiful Japanese backdrop. There's no health bar; instead, whenever you take damage from an enemy, you're slowed down, thus decreasing your score. And did we mention that it features a giant and slightly terrifying Pomeranian?

I don't like the premise for the gameplay, I think I'll pass.
The animation in this video is gorgeous.
