A fresh selection of screenshots have been released for Square Enix's popular MMO Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, focusing on the upcoming v2.2 update, and showcasing a number of new bosses and locations.
Franchise veterans will recognise demon Diablos, a summon in previous games, who will appear near the Ruin of Amdapor. The update – dubbed 'Through the Maelstrom' – will also add features such as Halatali Hard Mode, Brayflox’s Longstop Hard Mode, and four extra tiers to the Binding Coil of Bahamut. Bring it on! I still have yet to finish the Binding Coil or Ex mode primals, but the more content the merrier!
Following a run on the ps4 beta I took the plunge and bought a ps3 copy, I really dig it, and it actually EATS time...
I'm so ready. My FC just bought a house and I think we've all go multiple roles geared up and good to go for Leviathan.
I'm not a huge fan of their Hard Mode selection this time around though. Considering the Low Level Roulette was kicking everyone into Halatali and Longstop, I would have liked to see some mid level HM (Quarn/Stone Vigil PLEASE!)
