Hard to beat

A fresh wave of PlayStation 4 stock was enough to push first-person shooter Killzone: Shadow Fall back up the UK sales charts this week, but it looks like the supply has been exhausted already. A quick glance around the web reveals that the hardware is once again hard to find, with Amazon.co.uk hinting that its warehouses will be replenished on 25th January.

The message can be spotted on the product page for the vanilla iteration of the next generation console, which is currently the retailer’s top product. Pre-ordering now should guarantee you a system before the end of the month, and will allow you to construct your own bundle rather than be forced down a particular path.

Sony’s super machine was the best selling home console in the UK last year, outpacing the Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PlayStation 3. It’s currently sold 4.2 million units globally, making it the fastest selling system of all time. Even more impressive is that the device isn’t even out in its native Japan yet, where it’s certain to enjoy a significant bump on the back of a strong launch lineup.
