Joe Danger

British indie outfit Hello Games may be busy blowing minds with next-generation explore-‘em-up No Man’s Sky, but that doesn’t mean that it’s forgotten about the PlayStation Vita versions of Joe Danger and Joe Danger 2: The Movie. Fortunately, they’re still both actively in development at the brilliantly named Four Door Lemon, who previously worked on augmented reality Subbuteo simulation Table Soccer for Sony’s flagship portable format.

"Joe Danger is incredibly precious to us, and there are very few people that we'd trust with our baby, [but] Simon and his team at Four Door Lemon have a well proven track record, especially on the PlayStation platform," said Hello Games founder Sean Murray. "This is a great example of UK indie developers working together, helping each other to build something fantastic. It's an ideal fit."

The ports are purportedly due out in Q2 2014, meaning that they’ll probably arrive somewhere between April and June. For those out of the loop, the Joe Danger franchise fuses the precision of popular motorbike title Trials HD with a more vibrant platforming hook. Its sequel really went nuts – implementing various vehicles based on classic cinema properties such as Indiana Jones and James Bond. Are you willing to be a daredevil and double-dip?
