You really should have pre-ordered a PlayStation 4 a long time ago if you wanted to get one in time for launch, but there is still hope at some stores around the UK. To be in with a chance of nabbing a wild console, you’re probably going to need to consider queuing up soon as we’re expecting the system to sell out quick. Still, Sony is hinting that it’s shipped a lot of units to the region, so don’t give up hope yet.
Nationwide supermarkets such as ASDA, Sainsbury’s, and Tesco have all revealed that they will have additional stock available, while high street stores GAME and Argos have made a similar pledge. Meanwhile, the platform holder’s promised that it will be selling systems at its launch event in London later tonight, but, to be honest, if you’re not reading this on your phone while you wait in line, you’ve probably missed out on your chance to snag one of those.
If you're unlucky at first, then don’t give up hope – the manufacturer claims that it will be replenishing store shelves right through until Christmas, meaning that if you’re proactive and keep in contact with your local retailers, you still stand a good chance of securing a console before Santa slips down your chimney and steals all of your mince pies and sherry. Without further ado, then, these are all the stores in the UK with spare PS4 stock available.
Argos claims that it will have stock available at a number of its stores tonight, though it hasn’t detailed which. You can reserve a console for pickup through here.
