Following a surprisingly successful localisation on the PlayStation 3, SEGA’s rock hard rhythm release Hatsune Miku: Project Diva f is set to stretch its vocal cords on the PlayStation Vita in Europe and North America next year. The title – which stars Japan’s most popular computer generated pop star – actually deployed first on Sony’s handheld overseas, but was fervently demanded by fans in the West.
There’s a trailer embedded below which shows the pretend performer shaking her long green locks to an ear-shatteringly twee bubblegum soundtrack. Here’s a fun challenge: play the video at maximum volume when there are other people nearby, and see how long it takes for them to comment on the unusual audio. It took our target 42 seconds to twig – but what about yours? Let us know in the comments section below.

It's only a digital release, so customers won't get the AR card that let's you watch Miku perform.
The good news on the niche front for the Vita just keeps getting better. It's a good job I held off on importing this a few weeks ago. I remember stating in my review for the Ps3 version on here that it's a game suited more for handhelds so it good SEGA have finally seen sense. Everyone here knows I'll be double dipping for this
@MadchesterManc I miiiiiiiiiight double dip, but i'll only consider it if all the extra songs are inherently in there. To be honest it's a great game on console and I imagine it'd be a blast on the go. Some of those songs though (I'm looking at you Summer Idol, Rin-chan Now, and Weekender Girl) are very annoying to listen to, so I can't imagine playing this without headphones on at all times. @_@
I'll be getting it thanks to @MaschesterManc's review!
It looks really, really hard.
@get2sammyb It looks it but thats because the screenshots are taken from the games Hard mode. Easy & Medium do a great job of easing you in to the gameplay.
@turtlelink Thats good to know I can guaruntee it wont disappoint
@Cloud7794 wait! what!? bu bu but Summer Idol is good lol I used to play with headphones ages ago with the first PsP release but then decided 'what the hell' I like it If other people have a problem its their problem lol some of the looks people give you on the bus are golden. Like you say though I hope the extra songs in the console release make it over too and its not just a straight job of the Japanese version. Shame its digital only again but at least we getting it.
@MadchesterManc I need to have headphones... My girlfriend just hates vocaloid
@MadchesterManc I just figure that "If it bothers me, I shouldn't bother others with it." I despised Vocaloid before my girlfriend started cosplaying Miku and directed me to the first song of theirs I liked (World's End Umbrella). Even now, some of the songs, mainly the ones I mentioned, I will tolerate to try to get a perfect, but I find them too annoying for me to play for fun (like Acute, I find that video hilariously dramatic and sometimes replay it while giving them different wacky accessories). My tastes aren't your tastes though, I'm just saying I wouldn't listen to a small number of those songs willingly XP
@Cloud7794 Rin-Chan was a killer song on Normal
