The build up to Kingdom Hearts III will continue exclusively on the PlayStation 3 next year, as Square Enix has officially acknowledged its worst kept secret: Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX. The compilation – which follows in the footsteps of last month’s Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX – will collate the second game in the series, alongside PlayStation Portable favourite Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep and the cinematics from Nintendo DS title Kingdom Hearts Re:coded.
Purchasing the package will reward you with the Final Mix iterations of the aforementioned playable titles, both of which were previously only released in Japan. As with its predecessor, everything has been re-mastered in glorious high-definition, meaning that you can expect Mickey Mouse and crew to look the part on your widescreen display. In unrelated news, the adorable franchise has now sold more than 20 million units worldwide – a number that’s only likely to increase with the compilation in question and the upcoming PlayStation 4 sequel. This is the one I've been wanting, KH2 is my fave of the series and I never got to play Birth By Sleep (WHY NO PSN RELEASE???). I need to finish 1.5 though, I'm only through maybe half of KH1!

This is the compilation I'm more looking forward to. I hope it's not gonna be at the end of 2014 though!

I love Kingdom Hearts I preferred KH1 to the 2nd one but 2 is still an awesome game....and Kingdom Hearts 3 is the game most likely to get me to purchase a PS4 quicker than I was planning to. If I had a key blade I'd be holding it aloft in a generally triumphant manner

So as I predicted KH2.5 is a PS3 exclusive.
Now I just wait on DDD been release for a PlayStation system
I really hope after this, they don't release a collection with ALL of the games, but i hope they release DDD on PS3 as well

@JaredJ Well for 358/2 Days, also on DS, it was mentioned that remaking the game would delay the collection's release by quite a bit, probably because lots of features would need to be reworked.

@Shellybird27 I was hoping they would, but i gotta say i liked BBS more than KH 3D, but they both were great games.
I wonder if it will be multiplayer like the PSP version. thatd be better with it on PS3.
I'll be getting these both, first time i get to own the original and the first time i get to play the second.
Everytime time i see or hear about Kingdom Hearts i think of the yu gi oh line "Believe in the heart of the cards". No idea why, maybe because of KH:Chain of Memories
