Weirdness: Mark Cerny Comes Face-to-Face with Knack

Mark Cerny may be the tallest man in gaming – but he still needs to look up to Knack. Sony Worldwide Studios president Shuhei Yoshida snapped this adorable image of the game’s creative director posing with the shapeshifting protagonist at the Tokyo Game Show last week, and the duo seemed perfectly comfortable in each other’s company.

In addition to overseeing the PlayStation 4 launch title, Cerny has played a pivotal role in constructing the Japanese giant’s next generation console. Incredibly, he was heavily involved in the design of the PlayStation Vita, too. You can’t see it in the photograph, but there are bags the size of mountains under the Marble Madness creator’s eyes. He hasn’t slept since 2008, after all.
