The Last of Us

Naughty Dog has announced on its Twitter account that it’s stomped the pesky autosave bug that has marred The Last of Us’ launch. The studio explained that the issue pertained to its local servers, and that there is no need to wait for an additional patch. All you need to do is quit to the XMB and reboot the game.

“It was on our server, so it's not specific to which version of the game, and no patch or title update is needed,” the studio said. That would certainly explain why the title played perfectly in a debug scenario, but has suffered from setbacks all day. Fortunately, you should be free to enjoy the experience as intended now.
