EA Sports has predictably whipped in a timely slice of footage from the upcoming FIFA 14. The game – which is due out on the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 later this year – features a handful of improvements over its predecessor, including ‘Precision Movement’, which means that you can no longer pirouette on the spot like the dancer in a ballerina box – especially not if you’re playing as Derby County.
Other tweaks include enhanced ball physics, which should make shooting a smidgen more fun, and a revamped ball protection mechanic. The video embedded below is based upon the current generation release, but we suspect that we will see the PS4 version at E3. Stick a paw in the air if you’re excited to see Gareth Bale’s quiff in high resolution.

No Vita version? So the only portable football game of the next season is Pro on PSP. They may announce a Vita version on E3 or later though.
Yep, it looks just the same. So it should sell about 10 million. Oh and that's just in the UK.
I hope there are at least more original faces this year.
They seem to hold back the overall visual enhancements for the nextgen versions...
I always find myself disappointed with the player models. On the pitch, in a match, they seem alright. During celebrations and stuff though, they look like rubber men.
Same old, same old. Snore.........!
