The first instalment in Lucid Games’ promising episodic puzzler Jacob Jones and the Bigfoot Mystery will unravel on the PlayStation Vita this week. The UK developer – which was founded by a bunch of Bizarre Creations veterans – confirmed the news on Twitter overnight, though it failed to reveal a price for the title. You'll be able to snap up the adventure on 14th May in North America and 15th May in Europe.

For those out of the loop, the game sees you assume the role of Jacob, a quiet child who prefers the great outdoors to the company of his peers. Fortunately, his excursion to summer camp includes a chance encounter with none other than Bigfoot, transforming an otherwise dismal experience into a vacation to remember.

We’ll have more on Jacob Jones and the Bigfoot Mystery shortly, so toast some marshmallows and keep your eyes glued to the site. And just in case you missed it, check out the release's debut trailer through here.

Update: The developer's confirmed that each episode will set you back $2.99. There'll be five episodes in total.
