Sony has confirmed that any progress that you make in this week’s Soul Sacrifice demo will carry over to the full game. Writing on the PlayStation Blog, producer Kumi Yuasa revealed that your save data will be fully compatible with the final release – and you’ll even get a bonus item for bringing your information forwards.
“If you carry over demo save data to the full game, you will receive an exclusive bonus item [named] Spirits’ Heart,” she explained. “It summons a powerful stone golem that will fight for you. Trying the demo and carrying over your save data is the only way to get [the item], so why not give it a shot if you’re already interested in the game?”
Those of you that try the demo can expect a fairly meaty experience. The sample includes the full first four hours of the game, in addition to online and ad-hoc multiplayer. It’s due out later today in North America and tomorrow in Europe. Meanwhile, the full game’s set to forgo its body parts on 30th April in North America and 1st May in Europe.

Four hour demo?! That is as long as many games nowadays.
longest demo ever ;D
Holy cow that's a whole lot of demo! I hope that the full game just requires an unlock code for the demo, that way I won't have to wait to download it on release day.
What a good thing !
