The tide is high

Dire first-person semi-sequel Dead Island: Riptide has stumbled to the top of the UK sales charts, knocking Injustice: Gods Among Us off its perch. The superhero brawler slumped into second, a position ahead of budget re-release Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen, which roared into third. Elsewhere, Namco Bandai’s licensed Star Trek game set phasers to stun in fourth, pushing Tomb Raider down into fifth.

In fact, it was a distinctly different chart this week, with the likes of BioShock Infinite, FIFA 13, and Defiance occupying the second half of the top ten. Sadly, newcomer Deadly Premonition: Director’s Cut barely made a dent on the bestsellers list, debuting right at the bottom in 38th. You can peruse the full rundown of favourites through here.
