Dig out a bag of marshmallows and your best Legionnaires hat, because Lucid Games is bringing the fun of the summer camp season to the PlayStation Vita later this year. Jacob Jones and the Bigfoot Mystery promises an exciting episodic adventure specifically tailored to Sony’s portable, featuring “talking foxes and celebrity obsessed barmaids”.
You’ll need to use all of your Boy Scout skills in order to uncover what’s lurking in the forest, in an experience that promises a “summer vacation that you’ll never forget”. The game is being built using the Unreal Engine, and promises to take advantage of the Vita’s various inputs across “a host of challenging, brain teasing interactive puzzles created by some of the world’s leading puzzle designers”.
Furthermore, the adventure will feature a script penned by BAFTA nominated writer George Poles, and will allow you to share your progress on Facebook and Twitter. The title’s due out later this year, with more details set to be released over the coming weeks. In the meantime, check out the teaser trailer embedded below, and let us know if you’re planning to join the campfire celebration in the comments section.
