Downloadable shooter reloads series on PSN
Would the real Call of Juarez please stand up? Techland has deployed a brand new trailer for its upcoming PlayStation Network first-person shooter Call of Juarez: Gunslinger – and it looks like a real return to form for the underrated Western series. The footage teases showdowns against real-life historical figures such as Billy the Kid and Jesse James, promising a tale of pure, unadulterated vengeance.
Most impressive, though, are the visuals. For a downloadable game this looks absolutely stunning – almost too good to be true. There’s a hint of Borderlands to the art direction, particularly in the exaggerated blood splatters and vibrant settings. As huge fans of the series, we’re eagerly anticipating this. Will you be hopping aboard our hype wagon in the build up to release? Let us know in the comments section below.

At first I was a bit 'meh', but then saw it was a downloadable game - in which case this is impressive.
I do think it's funny that the series going back to its roots is a selling point, though. That last game was a disaster.
