You’ll have no excuse not to engage in a spot of mascot madness this weekend, when PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale’s price is slashed as part of Sony’s ongoing European PlayStation Network sale. Between the 25th and 28th January, you’ll be able to snap up the brilliant beat ‘em up for just £19.99/€24.99, which represents an enormous discount over the title’s usual price tag of £39.99/€49.99.

To make things even more tempting, PlayStation Plus subscribers will land an additional 10 per cent saving, putting the title in serious impulse buy territory. Remember, you get both the PS3 and Vita versions for a single fee. How could you possibly resist?

Other offers this week include discounts on a slew of Rockstar Games releases, including Max Payne 3 for just £15.99/€19.99. You can peruse the full list of savings over on the PlayStation Blog. Admittedly, we’re still dangerously tempted by Move Street Cricket. Have any of you tried it?

My quick math says - um, half price. Which admittedly is an enormous discount, just reads weird I guess.

Tempted to find out if my US cc that I used to sign up for 1 free month of PS+ will work. It's about $28.50US w/ the 10%

Is the sale really only Fri to Mon? I thought these things always lasted 1 week?
Checked the blog and your right, Sony must really like pissing people off. "Hey everybody look, 4 games on sale starting today and 1 on Friday." Just stupid.

Saw this in Game today for £10, new. The game is really struggling, hence being on sale on PSN. As I've said before, a massive own goal.

@Pikachupwnage - I think the PSN sale this week in the US is pretty good. LBP Karting for $10 The Unfinished Swan for $3.75 and Jak & Daxter for $2.00 to name a few.
