Ni No Kuni Delayed Until 1st February in Europe

Wrath of the white witch
Our very own Katy Ellis is crying into her DualShock as we type. It turns out that publisher Namco Bandai has been forced to delay its upcoming PlayStation 3 exclusive Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White With until 1st February in Europe. The title had been expected on 25th January, but a logistical error has pushed it back a week. "Sadly this is an issue we no longer have control over," a spokesperson for Namco Bandai UK explained on Twitter. "Our apologies."
In order to make up for the delay, the publisher will be giving away the title’s downloadable Draggle familiar, which was presumably intended as premium DLC. You’ll be able to grab it from the PlayStation Store on launch day. Meanwhile, the North American release date remains unaffected, and is still on track for 22nd January. That’s of no comfort to our Katy, though. Spare a thought for her when you’re greedily tucking into the adventure later this month.

Maybe it will give them time to put out a proper demo. The 1 I played was so bad I can only imagine it will cost them sales. They made 2 horrible mistakes.
First, for an RPG game they left out any cut scene story elements to draw you in. The demo should have opened with this:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fjMP3WdrIJE<br />
Second - a 1 hour time limit? It's an open world RPG, not beat the clock, and it has very real points to end normally. The first time I played it the game ended mid-boss battle in the volcano and upon just reaching the castle in the overworld. What's really stupid is the very natural place to end the demo after beating the boss and after an important cut scene or 2 after reaching the castle was just put of reach. I can't ever remember a demo this screwed up.
I don't understand how anybody can make a game this good but a demo that does the game such a disservice.

@rjejr I agree, I was pretty disappointed with the demo. It felt like it just plopped you in and then kicked you out. Lame. Hopefully the reviews will be good, because I didn't get a great first impression, despite the beautiful graphics.
