Popular PlayStation 2 title Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas will hit the North American PlayStation Store this week. The release date for the open world crime drama was first spotted on the Hong Kong arm of PlayStation.com, before being confirmed for the West via the PlayStation Blog.
The game’s arrival will come as no surprise to those of you with strong memories, as it was rated for the PS3 by the ESRB fairly recently. According to the same source, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City will also make an appearance in the near future.
It’s worth noting that San Andreas will be available in its original, no-frills form. Don’t expect any fancy visual upgrades or Trophy support – this is a straight port of the original version.
