Big Sky Infinity Blasts PS3 and Vita Next Week

If you’ve already exhausted every last atom of gameplay from Super Stardust Delta, then Ripstone’s upcoming Big Sky Infinity deserves a spot right at the top of your most wanted list. The PlayStation 3 and Vita twin-stick shooter promises a “fast-paced” arcade experience with “several unique attributes that significantly further the genre”.
Chief amongst those are randomly generated missions, which ensure that “you’ll never play the same game twice”. But that’s not all. Big Sky Infinity is also one of the first third-party titles to take advantage of cross-buy, meaning that you’ll only need to pay once in order to unlock the title on both PS3 and Vita. Even better, the game will be available as a free download for European PlayStation Plus subscribers.
If you’re not a member – or happen to live overseas – you’ll be able to purchase the title for £7.99/$9.99. The game includes all sorts of bonus features, including four-player local multiplayer on PS3, asynchronous challenges on Vita, and much more. We’ve handily embedded some gameplay footage in the space below.
