Joel and Ellie are set to step back into the spotlight next month, when a new The Last of Us trailer premieres during the Spike VGAs. Geoff Keighley emerged from the shadows overnight in order to promote the upcoming footage, which will debut on 7th December.

Naughty Dog’s survival horror title was first announced during the televised awards ceremony last year. We imagine that the new trailer will finally include a release date, alongside a first look at some of the infected humans that have been teased over the past 12 months.
