"Hey, the game's working now"

Those of you that purchased Silent Hill: Downpour may be pleased to learn that the title is finally playable on the PlayStation 3. Konami has released a fairly comprehensive patch for the flawed survival horror title which promises to improve the game's frame-rate, fix the save system, wash away any mission related bugs, and introduce several performance enhancements. Pretty minor stuff, then.

The situation's at least marginally better than the Silent Hill HD Collection on Xbox 360 – Konami is currently offering exchanges for that game, rather than issuing a patch.
