Portal 2’s hotly anticipated In Motion add-on will finally arrive in North America next week, developer Sixense Studios has announced. The $9.99 expansion will take full advantage of the PlayStation Move motion controller, and will add 20 extra test chambers to the full release. The motion controls will also be extended to the existing Portal 2 campaign, which is set to launch digitally on the PSN at the same time as the DLC. If you already own the game on Blu-ray, you’ll be able to unlock the compatibility courtesy of a free patch.

PlayStation Plus subscribers will be able to purchase both the DLC and the digital release of Portal 2 at a 30 per cent discount – although it’s unclear how long the promotion will last for. We recommend being swift if you want to take full advantage of the offer.

We've embedded a trailer for the expansion pack in the space below. For more details, point your browser towards the PlayStation Blog.

Looking forward to this. Will it work for splitscreen co-op? Will you need a Motion and Nav controller each?

And yes. Each player needs a Motion and Nav, or sub a Nav with a DS3.
