If you haven’t delved into the wonderful world of PlayStation Vita ownership just yet, Sony has announced a new North American bundle designed to get you on board. The attractive $299.99 package includes a 3G console, a 12 month subscription to PlayStation Plus, a download voucher for Unit 13, and a completely useless 4GB memory card.
Assuming you shell out for the system (and a bigger storage stick), you’ll be able to enjoy free access to the likes of Uncharted: Golden Abyss, WipEout 2048, Gravity Rush, and more as part of the bundled membership.

With playstation plus on vita I really hope they bring the memory prices down, or fingers crossed someone like sandisc can produce massive cards!! Bundles like this could do the vita a world of good!
Not a bad bundle at all. Couldn't they have given a bigger memory card, though? 8 gigs would have been nice.
Yeah, even with all the stuff in the bundle, the high price is still going to drive away potential customers.
Those 4gb sticks.. still don't understand why they can't just up them to 8gb. Unit 13 is already 1.2gb (iirc) so that + system information puts you at around 2.5gb free space.. not even enough space to actually utilize PSN+.
They are loosing price war with Nintendo =))).... They really need to do something with this. I don't know, maybe ,to make version with simple TN or IPS screen =)))... And sell it for 170$. And maybe they need to change screen manufacturer from Samsung to LG =)))... Yeah, OLED screen is beautiful, but I can live without it.
When Vita was annonced,i thought that they will drop price in summer or in automn. Now i think this will happen somewhere in the begining of next year, march or february along with realeses of new strong games like Killzone, Tearaway and Soul Sacrifice.
PlayStation Vita Call of Duty Black Ops: Declassified Bundle has all the stuff in the bundle, going to drive away potential customers.
@playstation3 That's a good bundle too imo, but it doesn't come with a 1 year sub of PS+ nor is it the 3G version. Personally, for $50 more, I'd go with the new bundle for the PS+ bundle.
This is what drives me nuts about Sony sometimes. Why not go the extra mile and at least throw in the 8 GB mem card? It's still not ideal but the 4GB is, as described in the article, useless. Other than that, it's a great bundle.
