Get me out of here

We’re getting agonisingly close to Christmas now – seriously, the next door neighbours have already erected their tree – but that’s not stopping publishers from announcing new titles for the PlayStation 3. One such late arrival is Labyrinth Legends, a brand new dungeon crawler from experienced outfit Creat Studios.

The title – due out on 18th December in North America and 19th December in Europe – promises a whimsical adventure packed with mythical beings. “Collect stars, gold, hidden treasure, weapons, artefacts and more,” said Scott Hyman on the PlayStation Blog. “But stay alert to battle foreboding mummies, zombies, ghouls and other monsters hidden in the shadows.”

The game will feature three different four-player local multiplayer modes, online leaderboards, and full Trophy support. “With a unique combination of crisp graphics and dazzling visuals, inviting exploration, tricky puzzles, and exciting monster-slashing arcade action, Labyrinth Legends is sure to be the most thrilling new game on PlayStation Network this holiday season,” Hyman added.

The release is currently only announced for PS3, but Creat Studios has noted that a Vita version is being discussed. “With enough demand, it may happen,” the company teased.
