Your Weapons Can Prestige in Call of Duty: Black Ops 2

The secret behind Call of Duty’s success is its ability to reward you for everything you do. Even when you’re losing, you always feel like you’re achieving something – and the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 aims to take that to the next level.

Not only will you be able to Prestige as a player in the Treyarch developed sequel, but you’ll also be able to do the same with your weapons. The ability to level up your arsenal was introduced in last year’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 – but it wasn’t possible to Prestige. According to game design director David Vonderhaar, you’ll be able to Prestige each gun at least two times in Black Ops 2 – and your weapon progress will not be reset when you Prestige as a player either.
