Better than actually using it
While the PlayStation Store redesign limps out across Europe, the North American PlayStation Blog has released an inside look at the new storefront. The video shows off all of the application’s new features, including intelligent search and content filtering. It all works a lot better in this trailer than it does overseas at the moment. (We still haven’t actually been prompted to update to the new version, despite numerous attempts).
Hopefully, the issues will be ironed out by the time the new PlayStation Store releases in North America on 23rd October. The platform holder’s got less than seven days.

a little concerned about the reports of slow loading times. I didn't need a fancier looking store. All I wanted was a wishlist.

Well to be quite honest, the current store setup has some pretty insufferable load times as well... But at least it looks pretty now. XD
