Call of Duty actor and former Eastenders bad boy Billy Murray has accidentally outed the next entry in Activision’s blockbuster series. The thespian – who has portrayed Captain Price for over five years – said in an interview with This Is Xbox overnight: “Yeah, on Monday I am off to meet Infinity Ward about the next game, Modern Warfare 4. I’m doing work on the sequel to Modern Warfare 3, it carries straight on and I only ever appear in the Modern Warfare games.”
Assuming the next Modern Warfare title arrives in November next year, there’s a good chance that it could be for PlayStation 4. Rumours suggest that Sony is targeting a Christmas 2013 release for its next platform, though the speculation has slowed in recent months.
Are you excited by the prospect of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, or are you tired of Captain Price and crew? Let us know in the comments section below.

please let modern warfare die its old and tired and well, only price is left so whats the point
@TOMBOY25 He's such a good character, though — they could easily make another game around him. Having said that, I thought MW3 wrapped up nicely.
oh yea price is awesome just as you said though theres no need to add more to modern warfare its over it just seems like their desperate to cling to it now
PlayStation 4 next year? LOL, no. Modern Warfare 4 is no surprise though. Another game not to buy (when I can get an older Call of Duty game for much cheaper if I want to).
@Knux I'm starting to doubt it, too. Think we're looking at early 2014 now.
So Black Ops 2 is officially old now.
