Paying too much attention to the backgrounds of PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale in the heat of battle can cost you the match – but when you’re a spectator there really is plenty to see. Just like the game itself, each stage is a mash-up of multiple Sony franchises. And in this brand new developer documentary, game director Omar Kendall talks a little bit about how SuperBot Entertainment came up with the ideas behind the crossovers.
What would be your ideal stage mash-up? We reckon a three-way MotorStorm, WipEout and Gran Turismo cross-over would be pretty neat – complete with Kazunori Yamauchi and Translator-san as playable characters, of course.
