Square Enix Updates Final Fantasy Versus XIII's Status

Square Enix has offered a small update on the oft-delayed Final Fantasy Versus XIII. Speaking at a Final Fantasy anniversary event in Tokyo overnight, company gaffer Yoichi Wada noted: "I cannot say any more than, 'We are making Versus!' Please wait a little longer."
Meanwhile, a brochure for the event (embedded to the right) included an illustration of the game’s protagonist Noctis alongside the words, “Please wait for his turn!” Could Square Enix be gearing up for a Tokyo Game Show re-reveal, or is it simply stalling for time?

I have a feeling that Final Fantasy VII remake will make it out before this game. Well I guess we will have to play Final Fantasy XIII-3 - Final Fantasy XIII-10 for the mean time. At least by the time Versus comes out, my grand kids will have something to do...

My thoughts are this might as well be a game on PS4. Hopefully it's not one of those duel generation games (think Godfather).

Thank god... Versus is the best looking FF game I have seen in ages, and it would have been a damn shame to lose it.
