Sleeping Dogs Lies Atop UK Sales Charts

Sleeping Dogs has displaced former frontrunner London 2012 in the UK sales charts race. The title’s position will certainly rub salt into the wounds of previous publisher Activision, who canned the project in 2011 over fears it wouldn’t sell. The company’s executives will be dining on a hearty slice of humble pie tonight, we suspect.
Elsewhere, the chart makes for familiar reading. LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes dropped down into fourth, while Batman: Arkham City held onto sixth. The Amazing Spider-Man slipped into seventh, while LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7 apparated into tenth.

Glad to see SD selling well despite the occasional luke-warm review, usually comparing it unfavorably to the GTA series.
I'm only an hour or so in but I'm finding the Honk Kong setting and Arkham Asylum/City style fight mechanics really refreshing after numerous retreads of the GTA formula.
Kudos to Square Enix for picking this up.

@JDig Review forthcoming. I'm really enjoying it, too. (Though I do have some issues.)

I rented this game and have played it non stop. I actually like it better than GTA do to it's focus on hand to hand combat.
I will for sure be buying this game.
