Gravity rush

Sneakily teased during Sony’s GamesCom 2012 press conference last night, Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault (or Ratchet & Clank: QForce as it's known in Europe) is firing onto PlayStation Vita. The title will take advantage of the platform holder’s new cross buy initiative, meaning you’ll get both the PS3 and portable versions for a single fee. The game will also feature cross play and cross save.

Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault will boast a mixture of classic cartoon violence and tower defence. The condensed PSN adventure is being released to celebrate Ratchet & Clank’s tenth anniversary on PlayStation. (Has it really been that long?)

In addition to the core action, the title will also feature a competitive multiplayer mode. This will combine classic Ratchet & Clank gunplay with the MOBA-style progression of Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal. The game will support up to four players and will feature ranked and custom games. There’s more information available on the PlayStation Blog. Point your browser through here to digest all of that.
