Sneak peek

It might be saving a full reveal for GamesCom, but publisher Reef Entertainment is clearly too excited to stay silent about its upcoming Rambo: The Video Game. In development at Polish studio Teyon, the title is pitched as a “fixed perspective, first-person shooter”, which sounds a lot like a fancy way of saying “on-rails shooter” to us.

The action movie tie-in promises to incorporate cover mechanics, destructible environments and action sequences based on the first three Rambo films. There’s a trailer embedded below, but it doesn’t include any gameplay. Well, what did you expect?

The game’s due out at, er, some point in the future. Reef Entertainment’s yet to actually confirm.
