Crazy Religious Cult Kicks Off Grand Theft Auto V Marketing

Grand Theft Auto’s shady religious group the Epsilon Program has updated its official website and Twitter account, suggesting that the marketing wheels are in motion for Rockstar Games’ upcoming sequel.

The Epsilon Program – an obvious satire of real-life cult Scientology – was a large source of gags in PS2 title Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. Given that the hotly anticipated Grand Theft Auto V takes place in the same fictional re-imagining of Los Angeles, it's almost certain that the updated website is linked to the open-world action title in some way.

While the page doesn't explicitly mention GTAV, it's still well worth a read. For example, did you know that the world is only 157 years old? Blimey.
