Knocking it out of the park

Actually, Bob Marley, the sun is not shining, but Sony might still have an announcement that will tickle your dancing feet. Well, assuming you’re in Europe anyway.

The platform holder has announced another European PSN sale, this time designed around a summer theme. The promotion – which starts tomorrow and will run all the way through to 5th September – promises a bunch of discounts on various PSN content, including the likes of L.A. Noire and Midnight Club: Los Angeles Complete Edition.

The core discounts will be joined by a batch of rotating summer savings. These offers will only be available for four days at a time, so it’s best to keep an eye on the PlayStation Store to ensure you don’t miss out.

The first of the flagged offers is FIFA 12 for £19.99. It's not a particularly exceptional saving on its own, but PlayStation Plus subscribers will also get the recently released Euro 2012 DLC for free, making it a much more attractive deal.

As for those of you in North America, well, there’s no sale for you. Sorry about that.
