Don't slip, duder

Keen tricksters will have noticed that Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater HD is already available for the Xbox 360. The nostalgia infused skateboarding compilation hit Microsoft’s platform as part of the manufacturer’s popular Summer of Arcade promotion. That means it's guaranteed a window of exclusivity by default – but developer Robomodo claims that’s not the only reason for the hotly anticipated download's delay on PS3.

Writing on its Facebook page, the studio explained that it wants a “bit more time” to ensure that the PS3 version is as “sharp as possible”. It added that it’s targeting a release somewhere between the end of August and the start of September.

Considering the Xbox 360 version has been criticised for a handful of technical mishaps, the delay might actually work out for the best. At least, that's what we're telling ourselves.
