Get Your First Look at Drake and Big Daddy in PlayStation All-Stars

During its E3 press conference, Sony confirmed that both Nathan Drake and BioShock’s Big Daddy would be joining the roster of PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale. It’s taken a while, but the PlayStation Blog’s finally provided us with our very first look at the characters in action.

Unsurprisingly, Nathan Drake’s fighting style focuses on weapons such as the GAU-19 and AK-47. Meanwhile, the treasure hunter’s level three super sees the other combatants transformed into the stumbling monsters from Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune.

Big Daddy, on the other hand, focuses heavily on melee combat, however he does have access to a handful of Plasmids from the BioShock universe. His level three super is similarly elaborate, plunging the other brawlers into the underwater depths of Rapture.

The game itself is coming along really well, and it’s great to get a more detailed look at the fighter in action. The attention to detail is staggering – from the appearance of the Hot Shots golf HUD in Sandover Village, right through to the frankly genius integration of Buzz! in the LittleBigPlanet stage.

Honestly, we could watch this video multiple times and still come away grinning like a Sackboy. PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale is set to release on PS3 and Vita later this year.
