First The Last of Us Gameplay Demo is Brutal, Glorious

Dangerous new world
The Last of Us needed no introduction: the faint chirp of birds contrasted against the image of a decaying world did the job. Sony certainly saved the best until last, and Naughty Dog's latest title was a fitting conclusion to a press conference packed with interesting new intellectual property.
We could describe the demo, but you're better off watching it for yourself. Pay close attention to the AI and impressive sound design. The video's embedded below.

This looks quite impressive technically and atmospherically, but almost TOO brutal for my tastes. Also, I get a little tired of all the f-bombs in games. Still, I'm sure the game is probably going to be amazing.

Is there any news on a release date? There were Release 2012 pre-order posters around for a while in Oz, but they seem to have disappeared recently. Hoping this isn't been pushed back to 2013.
