You know, we really respect Tony Hawk. The skating legend could so easily be a disinterested shill, but we really get the impression that he cares about the quality of his games.
Such is his passion, that the Hawkster's prone to revealing the odd snippet of unannounced information from time to time. On this occasion he’s taken to Twitter to confirm a rough June release window for the upcoming Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater HD.
He said on the social networking website:
HUGE thanks to robojoshy for the donation & for keeping the THPS dream alive with Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD (out in June… yeah I said it).

@Slaysme I've got to admit, this is one game I wouldn't mind playing on Vita either. Hopefully if the PS3 release does well they'll consider bringing it over.

I remember having a lot of fun with this one originally. Haven't played in a long time now so I can't remember if it's aged well or if I'd have as much fun now. My guess is it will still be fun and I'd enjoy the addition of HD and trophies.
