Is nothing sacred in this industry? Just hours ahead of CD Projekt’s big summer conference, a selection of Danish retailers have posted product pages for the original The Witcher on PlayStation 3. The studio previously teased that it had a “major announcement” planned for its summer showcase – could this be it?

The Witcher was in development for PS3 once before, but development was scrapped due to funding issues with publisher Atari. It seems like the success of the recently released The Witcher 2 on Xbox 360 has convinced CD Projekt to revisit the heavily anticipated project.
