Resistance: Burning Skies is breaking a lot of ground for a portable game. To our knowledge it’s the first handheld shooter to feature full dual-analogue controls and console quality multiplayer. In order to highlight the game’s achievements, Sony has released a brand new trailer showing off the game’s headline features.
We’re still a little bit concerned about the frame-rate but, for some reason, Vita games never seem to look as good in trailers as they do on the system itself. It’s something Sony desperately needs to solve.
In addition to the new trailer, Sony’s also raised the curtain on the title’s full roster of trophies. We’ve got to say, it looks like a very achievable Platinum. Are you planning on picking up Resistance: Burning Skies?

Looks fun. Hope Sony continues to release fresh experiences such as this, especially major franchises.
Maybe it will be the first REAL multiplayer experience on the handheld. All the commercials on the Vita try to convince you of a sense of connectivity to other players, but really there is next to none in the currently released games.
#Well Wipeout 2048 have a pretty good online mp.
@Azikira WipEout 2048 not only lets you play online with other Vita players', but also with those playing on their PS3, and Mortal Kombat's online is killer.
I am buying day one....I can't wait
oooooh 'citin!! Will deffo pick this up, loved the Resistance series, 3 is one of my favourite games- brilliant arsenal! Nice to see that Burning Skies is keeping the weapon wheel.
Not too sure about some of the touch screen implementation (double tap rear to run, grenades) but touching to tag with the Bullseye looks good though!
Loving my Vita, roll on more and more AAA titles!
