Staging an assault
Konami has confirmed that the PlayStation Vita version of the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection will touch North American systems on the 12th June. The handheld release features high definition makeovers of Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. It boasts added touch controls, trophy support and full transfarring compatibility with the PS3 release.
We make that the same day as Gravity Rush. It reminds us of an old adage regarding London transport.

I was really excited about this collection, though the exclusion of peace walker has turned me off to buying it just yet. I'm sure I'll be getting it eventually, though I was hoping to experience peace walker without having to buy the psp release.

Peace Walker definitely provided me with the most hours of gameplay in the PS3 edition of this game so I too was disappointed to see it being left out on Vita. I'm hoping that the redesigned controls for MGS2 and 3 make it a more pleasant experience for first timers.
