Even dragons get morning breath

Capcom's upcoming Dragon's Dogma is a solo-only experience, but that doesn't mean it hasn't got intriguing online capabilities too. The publisher just revealed online quests for multiple players, the first featuring a fearsome Ur-Dragon.

Essentially multiple players and their parties can tackle the giant beast asynchronously, their attacks combining to deplete its health. You'll get item drops each time you inflict damage, but land the killing blow and you'll receive a more powerful reward. Offline players can still tackle the quest, but the loot will be far better if you play online.

It's an interesting way to handle a multiplayer co-operative experience for sure, but would you have rather had a simultaneous co-op mode?
