Nowadays, developers don’t even bother to wait until their game has shipped before announcing DLC — take Ghost Recon: Future Soldier for example. The title may still be a couple of weeks away from release, but that’s not stopped Ubisoft from unveiling the tactical shooter’s first DLC pack.

Due out on 3rd July, the $10 expansion promises to add new multiplayer maps, a new co-op mode, six new weapons, and an additional competitive multiplayer mode to the game. The publisher’s opted against sharing any screenshots alongside the announcement, forcing us to ponder why it bothered revealing the expansion so early.

As they (probably) say in France: le sigh.
