A sequel of epic scale

When Rayman Origins appeared to struggle at retail late last year, many thought it was game over for Ubisoft’s stout nosed mascot. But alas, dreams can come true, as a marketing survey sent out by Arkenford on the French publisher’s behalf has hinted at the possibility of a sequel.

The survey – discovered by Kotaku – notes that the game could feature dragons, ghosts and Gods from Greek mythology. Kratos crossover confirmed?

It’s obviously far from a confirmation of the game's development, but thanks to a retail resurgence, and some great word of mouth, a Rayman Origins sequel doesn’t seem as impossible now as it did six months ago. And that’s the best news we’re likely to type all week.
