Zombies don't like fire, but they're not too fond of the cold either, which could go some way to explaining why Capcom's brought its big Christmas title Resident Evil 6 forward by nearly two months to early October.
Previously set for release in late November, the game's now due for 2nd October, meaning it'll be among the first wave of triple-A titles to hit this Christmas, just behind Borderlands 2 and BioShock Infinite but before Assassin's Creed III.
A little less time to save up, but has this affected your purchasing decision at all?

I still haven't finished playing the games from 2011 that I NEED to play. Nearly there. Oh to have more time.
Very interested in this game, but I won't be grabbing it in Oct. Too many others will have to come first - like Bioshock and AC3.
Screenshots do look good though.
